Staff Communications

The wikidot was very effective.

Ideas from C/Col Feinstein:

  • Staff needed more communication beyond the executive staff
  • Weekly updates on what is happening from the upper levels of the chain of command
  • Require all staff to get Skype or AIM and speak on a regular basis with their superiors
    • Happened in support staff, leading to the general readiness of the support staff when encampment came around
  • Need to explore other online means of communications (twitter, youtube, facebook, etc.)
  • Conference calls took too long (sidetracking)
  • Conference calls should happen more often

All good points. Communication should happen more before encampment and alternative communication possibilities should be explored.
