Chain Of Command

Was chain of command followed? Were there any issues in understanding the chain of command?

I think that a lot of the SM problems could have been solved if they had followed thier own chain of command. SMs should only interfere with a cadet if there is a safety/hazing issue, all of which needs to be covered in the encampment procedures.
I know that the only issues from a support standpoint was that squadron commanders would begin ordering their assigned support staff around without proper authority. Support staff work for the squadron, not the squadron commander, and get thier marching orders from the C/XO.
I also noticed that flight staff would ask me what was happening a couple of times. I would have rather them had asked thier squadron staff so the chain of command could be preserved.
